Chinese Girl, 15, Dubbed 'Too Beautiful To Look At' After Invasive Plastic Surgery

Unsettling images of a Chinese teenager's purported plastic surgery have earned her thousands of online followers eager for a glimpse at the girl labeled "too beautiful to look at," according to the Daily Mail.

The 15-year-old from China's Henan province, known as Lee Hee Danae, reportedly underwent major invasive plastic surgery around her eyes to make them wider and on her chin to narrow the lower part of her face - a sign of beauty in China.

Danae is now an Internet celebrity, with 400,000 following her social media Weibo account that's filled with photos of her smiling and posing in full makeup.

Followers have labeled her "too beautiful to look at." Others say that because of her pale skin and V-shaped face she is a "snake spirit," a reference to a spiritual being well-known in China.

It's not clear why the minor allegedly underwent cosmetic surgery or if the photos are even real - some have suggested the images are edited. According to Cbg.cn, she could have had surgery to impress an ex-boyfriend.

Her surgery, if true, represents a larger trend in China where women allegedly have excess skin removed from eyelids and undergo facial contouring- where bone is shaved off the jaw and chin - all in the name of having big eyes and heart-shaped faces.

Scores travel to South Korea for cosmetic surgeries because of its abundance of doctors, the Daily Mail reported. The procedures leave many women unrecognizable, prompting hospitals to issue official certificates with the patient's passport number to be shown when re-entering China.
