Zimbabwe faces India on Wednesday in the first match of their five-game 2013 ODI Series. The match begins at 3 a.m. ET (01:30 p.m. IST). Watch the live stream HERE.
India enters the ODI series on a hot streak. The team won the Champions Trophy and Tri-Series, and is ranked No. 1 in the ICC ODI standings. Zimbabwe, ranked No. 10, doesn't have big-name players but does have the ability to upset India, Raymond Ronamai of IB Times reports.
Virat Kohli will lead the squad in place of captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is sitting out for rest. India's batting will be headed by Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Dinish Karthik, Suresh Raina and several other young batsmen.
Bowlers Jaydev Unadkat, Parvez Rasool and Mohit Sharma replace Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Zimbabwe's batting lineup is headed by captain Brendon Taylor, who averages 46 against India with 184 runs in four games. Kyle Jarvis and Tendai Chatara will help lead Zimbabwe's bowling.
Despite losing both of its matches to Zimbabwe in 2010, India boasts the better record against the African team: 39 wins, 10 losses and two draws in 51 meetings.
India is the favorite to win.
