Warner Bros. worked quickly to find a replacement director for the "Wonder Woman" movie.
Patty Jenkins will take over the directorial duties on the DC film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She replaces Michelle MacLaren, who left the project on Monday over "creative differences."
Despite the change, the studio doesn't expect a delay in production, which is set to begin this fall. "Wonder Woman," starring Gal Gadot, is scheduled to premiere on June 23, 2017.
Jenkins was Marvel's first choice to direct "Thor 2: The Dark World," but she left the project also over creative differences. She made her directorial debut on 2003's "Monster," which earned Charlize Theron an Oscar.
