With a playoff spot on the line, the Indiana Pacers visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. Tipoff for the teams' regular-season finale is at 9:30 p.m. ET and can be live streamed below.
Many scratched Indiana (38-43) from the playoffs when superstar Paul George broke his leg in the summer. The Pacers, though, have made a late push for the East's final playoff seed and can clinch the spot with a win on Wednesday. A big part of the Pacers' six-game winning streak, which put them in control of their own destiny, could be chalked up to the return of George, who played beyond his minutes-restriction Tuesday night to help Indiana keep its playoff hopes alive with a double-overtime win over the Washington Wizards.
"Just all-out heart, and determination, and will, and perseverance, and not quitting," coach Frank Vogel said of the whole team's 99-95 win, according to ESPN. "We got down so many times and had so many opportunities to give in. They just persevered through it."
George only recorded 10 points and three rebounds in his 17 minutes of playing time, but his defense during the last 25 seconds of regulation helped to force overtime and his jump shot with less than 23 seconds left in the first overtime tied the game and led to the second overtime.
Pacers guard C.J. Miles led the team with 25 points, and fellow backcourt-mate George Hill added 24 points and 10 assists.
Memphis (54-27), meanwhile, is locked for the sixth seed in the West. The Grizzlies have lost two straight, and they likely won't play their starters for any significant minutes Wednesday night.
