Panama meets Mexico on Tuesday in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinals. The match begins at 10 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
The winner of Wednesday's bout earns a spot in the Gold Cup final. It's a rematch of their group stage opener, Yahoo! Sports reports. Panama upset Mexico in the Group A opener with a 2-1 win. Panama went on to clinch the top spot in Group A with seven points, while Mexico finished in second with six points.
Mexico has made adjustments since then, including replacing Israel Jimenez at right back with Miguel Layun. Mexico manager Jose Manuel "Chepo" de la Torre's squad is expected to come out swinging from the whistle.
The Mexican squad has improved with every match played in the tournament, partly because of Chepo's tinkering and adjustments to the line. Despite a narrow 2-1 win against Trinidad & Tobago in the quarterfinals, Mexico is confident it can avenge its opening round loss against Panama.
Panama is focused on making it to its first Gold Cup final appearance since 2005. The squad was made even more confident by its 6-1 rout of Cuba in the quarterfinals.
