More than 10 years ago, Mary Nunes, her stepfather Scott Kelley and her mother Genevieve Kelley vanished from New Hampshire.

On Wednesday, Mary Nunes and Scott Kelley, who is accused of kidnapping her, resurfaced at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

"It was time to come home," Scott Kelley told People. Authorities were waiting for him at the airport and arrested him on non-custodial kidnapping charges.

According to the New Hampshire Union-Leader, Mary Nunes "was given the option of deciding what she wanted to do." She then accompanied the family lawyer, Alan Rosenfeld, to "an undisclosed location in Colorado."

Mary, who was 8 years old at the time, vanished from New Hampshire in 2004 with Genevieve Kelley and Scott Kelley. Prior to them leaving, Genevieve Kelley and Mary's father Mark Nunes had a custody battle over their daughter. The Union-Leader reported at the time that Genevieve Kelly accused Nunes of sexually abusing Mary Nunes. After police shot the accusations down, Mary Nunes, Scott Kelley and her mother Genevieve Kelley seemingly disappeared.

Before their arrival in Atlanta, Scott Kelley, 50, and Mary Nunes, now 19, went to the U.S embassy in Costa Rica and requested passports to return to the states for the first time in more than a decade, according to CNN.

Genevieve Kelley has been back in the United States since 2014, according to People.
