Premier League Transfer RUMORS: Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City Looking for Offensive Help

Let the rumors continue. Despite being the top clubs on the Premier League table, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are already expected to be making moves once the summer transfer window opens on July 1.

Per ESPNFC, here's the breakdown for each club and who they may pursue.

Chelsea

The No. 1 squad in the Premier League could be looking for a striker since the offensive depth has been exposed after injuries to Diego Costa and Loic Remy. Didier Drogba got his first start since February against QPR on Sunday and the club earned a narrow 1-0 victory, proving they're in need of better depth. Manager Jose Mourinho said Chelsea may have to alter their style when Drogba is up front, but he may look to avoid having to do that by acquiring a new threat during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea could chase young strikers Mauro Icardi of Inter Milan and Yoshinori Muto of FC Tokyo, according to John Brewin of ESPNFC.

Arsenal

Arsene Wenger's club trails Chelsea by seven points in second place, but he has bumped heads with Olivier Giroud at times while Alexis Sanchez has only 14 goals in 29 matches and Danny Welbeck has netted just four in 26 contests. Although Brewin notes Wenger is typically loyal to his players that perform well, the club may chase Gonzalo Higuain of Napoli, who they missed out on back in 2013.

However, the offense still has a chance to kick it in to high gear, especially since they're close to taking the top spot with just six matches remaining.

Manchester United

Louis Van Gaal has Man U in a great position to return to Champions League play next season, but he won't stop there. Radamel Falcao is unlikely to return and Van Persie's role in the club's game plan moving forward is a bit of a mystery, so United is linked to a number of outside talent.

Brewin notes the No. 3 club in the Premier League could go after Dutchmen Wesley Sneijder or Dirk Kuyt as well as PSG strikers Edinson Cavani or Zlatan Ibrahimovic. However, a more realistic option could be impending free-agent striker Danny Ings of Burnley.

And let's not forget about the possibility of Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.

Manchester City

We've heard a lot coming out of Man City, especially since they have only four wins in their past 15 matches. They're supposedly preparing to make a big push for Liverpool striker Raheem Sterling because they might be losing Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic. However, Liverpool seem unwilling to let Sterling go, which could open the door for striker Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon.

It's all dependent on how Man City's season comes to a conclusion because then perhaps Sergio Aguero would be more willing to stay, but it's unclear at this point.

There should be a lot more speculation between now and July 1.
