Netflix is saying "You got it, dude!" to all the rumors about a "Full House" reunion series coming to the streaming site.
Netflix confirmed the "Fuller House" 13-episode reunion series that will be exclusive to its website in 2016.
The story is picking up more than 20 years after the show's final episode in 1995. This time around, the storyline will focus on Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) living as adults.
After D.J. becomes a young widow, like her father in the original series, she has her best friend Kimmy (also a single mother) move in with her crazy teenaged daughter to help raise her two children. Stephanie, an aspiring musician, also moves in to lend a helping hand.
The show will be produced by John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), who is also expected to guest star.
Discussions with other original "Full House" stars for guest appearances, including Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Michelle Tanner), Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey) and Lori Loughlin (Rebecca Katsopolis née Donaldson), are ongoing.
Since "Full House's" eight-season run, the cast reunited off screen several times. On screen Stamos, Saget and Coulier have reunited in Super Bowl commercials and in a few skits for "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon."
"Fuller House" was also confirmed last night by Stamos in a TV interview with Jimmy Kimmel.
