Chennai sits second in the IPL standings with a 3-1 record and is looking to bounce back from its first loss of the season. The Super Kings fell to No. 1 Rajasthan on Sunday in an eight-wicket loss, thanks in part to a stagnant offense. Dwayne Bravo led in scoring with 62 runs, with the second highest score for a Chennai player being Dwayne Smith's 40.
"It was an off-day for us," Chennai skipper MS Dhoni said, according to CricBuzz.com. "We started well, but I went in and ate up too many deliveries. It was difficult to stop them, they rotated the strike well. The pitch played well, it does under lights. I thought it was only a par score. This is a long tournament, so, it doesn't really matter (one loss). We didn't lose by a massive margin, hopefully, we will get better."
Bangalore, meanwhile, is last in the league standings with a 1-2 record. The Royal challengers are also coming off an eight-wicket defeat after losing Monday to Hyderabad.
