The popular, NYC-based burger joint will open its first California location in Los Angeles in 2016.
The Golden state's new eatery will have the feel of a "roadside stand," and will have outdoor seating on an open patio.
Shake Shack will set up shop on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and West Knoll Drive, according to eater.com.
"We've heard from our West Coast fans for years that they'd love a Shake Shack in California, and at long last, we're delighted to say Shake Shack LA is on its way. Los Angeles is one of the greatest cities in the world with a culture like no other, and we look forward to being a part of the community," CEO Randy Garutti said in a release.
The company prides itself for its products containing "100 percent all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef."
Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, an Austin, Texas-based firm will be responsible for designing the set up. The architects are known for creating Texas-based P. Terry's, a chain of throwback burger stands.
The company is currently building new locations in Las Vegas, Austin and Tokyo, with additional locations on the East Coast also in the works.
It has successfully opened restaurants in Russia, Turkey, London and all over the Middle East.
