Did Mila Kunis cross the road to steal a chicken as a child in the Ukraine?
A former childhood friend alleges that she did - maybe not the crossing road part, but definitely the stealing the bird part.
Kristina Karo, an aspiring Ukrainian singer, claims that Kunis was envious of her pet hen, named Doggie, and one day stole it from Karo, according to TMZ. The first grade girls were "inseparable" before Kunis moved to the United States, and the 31-year-old actress would regularly go over to Karo's house to play with the chicken.
Kunis later confessed to her crime, but told Karo that she could "have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm."
Karo is suing Kunis for the emotional stress she endured after the loss of her pet chicken and needs at least $5,000 for therapy, according to TMZ. She has sought therapy multiple times and claims she started having visions of Doggie being stolen when she moved to Los Angeles and closer to her former BFF Kunis again.
Geography may prove Karo's claims false, though. The "Give Me Green Card" was born and raised in Berezhnystsia, Ukraine, according to her website. Kunis was born in Chernivtsi, a little more than 100 miles away from Karo's hometown.
The "That '70s Show" star moved to Los Angeles with her family at age 7.
