Apple Watch: Company To Offer Users Personal 'Setup' Appointments

As consumers begin to acquire the much anticipated new Apple watches in greater quantities, the tech giant is doing everything it can to ensure its customers a satisfatory user experience.

Early reports reveal that customers who have already received their Apple Watches received an email from Apple offering them a chance to attend a virtual meeting to help set up their Apple Watch.

The sessions will allow customers to learn about their new device and be walked through its bevy of features, as well as have the opportunity to ask questions. Specialists will also be making app recommendations, the email reads, and will help customers personalize their device," reports TechCrunch.

Earlier leaked reports indicated that Apple would only offer the introductory service to Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition customers. However, Apple Watch Sport purchasers told TechCrunch that they also received emails offering setup appointments.

"Sessions are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening hours, and currently have availability through May 7th, though many of the early time slots are already filled. The online form also allows customers to indicate what specifically they're looking to receive help with when their appointment time rolls around" notes TechCrunch.

The setup periods seem to be digitized versions of the typical setup in Apple stores, which makes a lot of sense. Apple has said the company wants to deemphasize their physical stores and place more emphasis on digital presence.

Customers aren't up for the digital experience can get the same service at any of its stores.
