'The Walking Dead' Season 6 SPOILERS: 'Zombie Army,' More Romance Heading to Safe-Zone?

Warning: Possible spoilers for season six of "The Walking Dead."

Just when Rick and company seemed to settle the issues they had with the Alexandria Safe-Zone group and earn acceptance, The Wolves are getting ready to force them out.

That's where season five left us.

There's still many months until season six starts, but the details on how the Wolves plan on attacking the survivors in Alexandria are becoming clearer. In an exclusive interview with Melty, Greg Nicotero, a co-executive producer on the AMC hit series, explained how the Wolves people who get in their way.

"You have people that are basically utilizing the people that they kill as ammunition to build a zombie army," Nicotero said. "They are setting booby traps everywhere so they can take people's possessions and then use them to build the walkers in the traps. So it's kind of a diabolical plan."

Even the return of a much more sane and powerful Morgan might not be enough to save the group of survivors from a "zombie army."

As Cleveland.com points out, the Wolves are a play on the Scavengers, from the Walking Dead comic books:

"The Scavengers don't create a 'zombie army.' However, their presence draws a herd of walkers to the Safe-Zone, which leads to the destruction of the Safe-Zone's walls and numerous deaths. Expect the show to follow this storyline closely during Season 6."

On a much more lighthearted note, Nicotero also opened up about the possibility of more romance on the show. Who can forget how romantic it was when Rick's feelings for Jessie culminated with him killing her abusive husband Pete? Believe it or not, that might have hurt Rick's chances with her.

"I don't think it would be out of the question for something to spark between Rick and Jessie, because it already did," Nicotero said. "I do believe that Jessie was torn between her marriage to Pete and her attraction to Rick. But there are also a lot of other things you have to think about. Now, Rick basically murdered the father of her children. I can't imagine that's going to be something [she's] going to be able to get over easily."

Jessie did not have a lot of screen time in season five, so it remains to be seen if she will even become a major character or not. If there is one romance that has the possibility to become a major storyline, it may be Carl and Enid. They've already flirted, and the whole mystery regarding Enid and her potential connection to the Wolves would be riveting to watch. As Cleveland.com notes, Michonne and Morgan also is a possibility, as the pair have a relationship in the comic books.

The show may need a new noticeable couple sooner than you think, as the arrival of the Wolves does not fair well for Glenn. Would "The Walking Dead" writers be that cruel to Maggie though, who is barely over the death of her sister Beth? Only time will tell.
