Rosie O'Donnell's estranged wife may not have an honest motive when it comes to the custody of the couple's 2-year-old daughter Dakota.
Michelle Rounds filed legal docs Tuesday, asking for full custody of Dakota out of necessity to protect the child's "general welfare," Rounds' lawyer told the New York Post.
Inside sources connected to Rosie's side of the matter disclosed that they believe Rounds is not looking out for Dakota's best interest, but in fact, is in search of one thing . . . money.
The couple has a prenup, and that is all Rounds is reportedly interested in acquiring.
Rosie is a "devoted mother" and her parenting skills and dedication are well-documented, according to TMZ.
Because O'Donnell is a softie, Rounds tried to pull the emotional card in order to get the 53-year-old comedian to break, but insiders have called attention to Rounds' lack of parenting skills.
"Michelle can't even raise a dog ... she's given multiple dogs away," the source said.
