Los Pollos Hermanos From 'Breaking Bad' May Become a Real Restaurant Chain

Thankfully, the feud between meth kingpin Gus Fring and Walter White on "Breaking Bad" was fictional, but a staple of the show and their relationship may soon be coming to a strip mall near you.

Show creator Vince Gilligan revealed on Thursday during a Reddit AMA that there are talks of Los Pollos Hermanos becoming a fast food chain. The restaurant played a vital part in Fring's cover as an innocent manager at the establishment, when in reality he was very far from it.

"Believe it or not... there is talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant," Gilligan wrote when asked about the fictional restaurant on the AMA. "This is not an idea that I generated personally. But it's one that's been presented to me, through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing just that. Speaking for myself, I'd love to see that happen!"

Of course, Reddit users took this piece of information and ran with it, offering recommendations on what would be necessary at your local Los Pollos Hermanos. Some highlights include:

"Every store should have a Gus Fring look-a-like and ask random customers if their food is to their satisfaction."- Reddit user elijoker.

"A set of mute twins in silver suits staring into space in the corner."- Reddit user Bye-Girl

"And sell ice cream covered with blue pop rocks."- Reddit user Bic_Parker

"Onion Frings" and "Hesisenburgers" were also recommended as names for potential menu items. On "Breaking Bad," the scenes that took place at Fring's Los Pollos Hermanos were filmed in Albuquerque, N.M., at a Mexican fast food restaurant called Twisters.

If Los Pollos Hermanos start popping up, owners of Chick-fil-A, Popeyes and KFC better hope the managers aren't as ruthless as Fring was on "Breaking Bad."
