Prince announced that he is recording a song that will serve as a tribute to Freddie Gray and the Baltimore riots.
Prince's spokesman didn't announce a release date for the song, but he did reveal that it will be a "tribute to all of the people of the city of Baltimore."
The new song was recorded this week, but a release date has not been set. It's rumored and believed that the lyrics to the new song will address Freddie Gray's death in Baltimore police custody, and the socio/political issues around racism among police.
