The Kardashian family is ending their clothing line with Sears after four years providing consumers with affordable fashion at the retailer.
Sears told TMZ that the end to the business deal with the Kardashians was mutual, although a source reportedly told the website that the Kardashians left because "the family felt Sears wasn't stable."
Sears announced at the end of 2014 that they are accelerating store closings to trim the store's losses that continued to increase in the last quarter of the year, reported CNBC.
The Kardashian Kollection debuted in 400 stores in August 2011. The line was successful (the line made Sears $600 million in 2013, earning the family a $30 million cut) but it wasn't successful enough to save the store as a whole.
According to TMZ's source the Kardashians already made a new deal with a major retailer, which will be officially announced in the near future.
