Cholita The Bear Rescued And Freed From Abusive Circus By Animal Defenders International (VIDEO)

After decades of abuse at a circus Cholita the bear was rescued by Animal Defenders International (ADI).

The 25-year-old hairless bear was signed into ADI's custody and rescued in a two day mission. The organization brought her to their "Spirit of Freedom" rescue center where she is receiving specialist care.

When Cholita arrived at ADI she had brutal marks on her body, suffered from stress-related alopecia, her toes were cut off to remove her claws, and her teeth were broken, reported The Dodo.

Despite all the bear has been through, Cholita is doing great and she is loving her new life under the care of ADI.

Now she spends her days relaxing in hay piles, eating fruit, and snoozing on her favorite blanket.
