The 2015 NBA playoffs continue Tuesday with Game 2 of the second-round series between the Washington Wizards and the Atlanta Hawks. Tip off is at 8 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Not many predicted Washington to open up its series against Atlanta with a win on the road, but the team did just that in Sunday's 104-98 victory. Wizards guards Bradley Beal leading the team with 28 points and John Wall adding 18 points and 13 assists, two of Washington's six players to score in the double figures.
"Last year we were just happy to be in the playoffs, just happy we moved on. We didn't have many goals after the first round," Beal told the Associated Press. "This year, we expect more from ourselves. We're really focused on what we need to continue to do to move forward."
Heading into Game 2, the two biggest questions for Washington is how effective Beal and Wall will be playing through their injuries. Beal sprained his ankle in Game 1 but played through it, and Wall hurt - or reinjured, according to one report - his left hand. Both guards are expected to play Tuesday night, and Wall for one is expecting an even tougher challenge from the Hawks.
"We know that they're going to come out aggressive and give us a punch right away," he said. "We can trust anybody leading us in scoring. When we play team defense, we're a pretty good team."
Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll scored a team-high 24 points in the loss, big men Al Horford and Paul Millsap combined for 32 points and 29 rebounds.
"Maybe we have to turn the heat up a little bit more, get a little more physical, get more aggressive on John Wall and Bradley Beal," said Carroll. "I think we kind of sat back and let them dictate their offense."
