Duggar Family: '19 Kids And Counting’ Stars Boost Home Security With Cop Car In The Yard

The Duggars have accumulated a few enemies over the years with their sometimes controversial statements. To keep everyone safe, the family has boosted the security around their estate.

The "19 Kids and Counting" stars have placed a decoy police vehicle just outside the front gate of their home in Tontitown, Arkansas, according to Radar Online. The car will serve as a first line of defense against nosy fans and other unwelcomed guests.

"It certainly gets your attention, if that was the intention," an eyewitness told Radar.

If the cop car doesn't scare people away (And who are we kidding? It probably won't), the stockpile of firearms on the premises should serve as a reasonable deterrent.

"Anyone who watches the show knows the Duggar family has guns in the house," the eyewitness said. "So the cop car is more like a not-so-subtle warning."

The Duggar family also shares connections with local law enforcement. John David, the second oldest son, volunteers as a peacekeeper for the Tonitown police department and his father Jim Bob has friends on the force as well, according to Radar.

The family installed fence around the estate a couple years ago when more fans of the TLC show started showing up.

"19 Kids and Counting" airs tonight at 8 p.m. on TLC for a special two-hour episode that will feature the birth of Jill and Derick's first child.
