Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook Chief Operating Officer, shared a touching tribute to her husband, Dave Goldberg, in a Facebook post.
"We had 11 truly joyful years of the deepest love, happiest marriage, and truest partnership that I could imagine...He gave me the experience of being deeply understood, truly supported and completely and utterly loved - and I will carry that with me always. Most importantly, he gave me the two most amazing children in the world," Sheryl Sandberg says in her post. "Things will never be the same - but the world is better for the years my beloved husband lived."

Sheryl Sandberg's post appeared just hours after Dave Goldberg's memorial service at the Stanford University auditorium on Tuesday. The event was also Sandberg's first public appearance after the accident.
A number of the tech world's top executives attended the private event. Robert Goldberg, Dave Goldberg's brother who first announced his death on Saturday morning, spoke at the service along with a number of friends. The speakers reminisced about Dave Goldberg's self-deprecation, modesty and selflessness, according to Reuters.
Guests were presented with Minnesota Vikings baseball caps - a reminder of the 47-year-old Minneapolis-born Goldberg's carefree nature and love of sports. Playing cards stamped with his initials and poker chips were on hand. U2's Bono sang "One" during the ceremony.
Dave Goldberg died on Friday from head trauma and blood loss after apparently slipping off a treadmill while on vacation at Punta Mita, Mexico. Dave Goldberg was CEO of SurveyMonkey.
A number of prominent figures have also paid tribute to Goldberg on Facebook, including President Barack Obama, according to ABC News.
