Adam Levine Gets Sugar-Bombed While Greeting Fans Outside 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Adam Levine was hit with a bag of powdered sugar by a fan Wednesday while greeting fans outside Jimmy Kimmel's studio for a performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Spectators and fans were able to capture the incident, and pictures are out on various social media sites, Billboard reported.

The motivation of the pitcher remains unclear, though Hollywood police told ET online that he is a repeat offender, with five victims already pressing charges against him for battery, including the Maroon 5 frontman.

The same man has been reported to have thrown a rock at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson last week. Considering that the band's new single is titled "Sugar," people are starting to speculate that the man behind the attacks might be a lover for puns.

The assault did not harm the vocalist, but the pictures circulating the Internet show that he was not at all happy with the incident.

The band's performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," on the other hand, went on without any problems.

Levine wasn't the only celeb to have a crazy run-in on Wednesday. Anti-fur activists called Kim Kardashian a "murderer" at a book signing in New York City, as she attended the event while wearing a fur coat, according to ET Online.
