A new study has found that the Apple Watch is generating a different level of support from men and women only two weeks after its launch.
California-based data mining company CrowdFlower made this discovery by looking at over 30,000 tweets posted since the high-tech watch made its debut for sale on April 24, according to The Indian Express. The firm found that more positive reviews came from women, with 64 percent of women tweeting praise of the gadget while 53 percent of men tweeting positive opinions.
The use of apps with the Watch received the most praise, especially the fitness app, as it schedules three rings of movement to help users meet their fitness goals.
One finding that reinforced the stereotypes that "tech is for guys" was that 70 percent of the total tweets came from men, India Today reported.
Out of all the negative tweets, the biggest complaints were that the Watch took too long to be delivered and that some of the apps were experiencing bugs.
The Apple Watch is available now online in three versions: the Watch, Sports and Edition. Prices vary from $349 to $17,000.
