The lifeless body of Morgan Stanley Trader Murray Abbott, who went missing two weeks ago, has been discovered in the Queen Street E. and Leuty Avenue area of Toronto, Canada, Toronto police confirmed to the Toronto Star.
The confirmation was based on an autopsy done on a body discovered at R.C. Harris Water Filtration Plant, near Queen Street E. and Nursewood Road on Monday morning, police constable Victor Kwong tells the publication.
A woman called the police's attention upon seeing it, he says.
Abbott was last heard of on April 25 at around 10:30 p.m. in the Queen Street E. and Leuty Avenue area. However, for two weeks thereafter not a trace of him was found, prompting his family to offer a reward leading to his whereabouts, adds the Toronto Sun.
Abbott's close friend, restaurateur Ross Bonfanti, tells the Toronto Sun that he could not think of anyone who could have held a grudge against Abbott. He notes that Abbott even parted cordially with his former partner with whom he has a son.
Reports have not yet disclosed how Abbott died and the police are still continuing their investigation.
