*(UPDATED: See Below)
Sri Lanka has already clinched the ODI series, but another win by South Africa can at least finish the series on a winning note. Sri Lanka won the first ODI by 180 runs, the second ODI by 17 runs and the fourth ODI by eight wickets - South Africa's lone win was by 56 runs in the third ODI.
South Africa's JP Duminy scored 97 and Hashim Amla scored 77 in the fourth ODI, but the squad's middle order failed, IB Times reports. Injuries have hindered South Africa throughout the series - Dale Steyn, Jacques Kallis and Graeme Smith all missed games, which hurt the team's batting order.
The squad's bowling lacks depth, which was exposed in the ODI series. In the previous match, only Morne Morkel and Lonwabo Tsotsobe took wickets.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, has turned in steady performances throughout the series. Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 115 and Kumar Sangakkara scored 91 in the last match. Ajantha Mendis took four wickets, Lasith Malinga took three and Dilshan took two.
Sri Lanka is the favorite to win.
