Amy Poehler recently blasted male officials in Hollywood for constantly asking questions about her two children.
Gracing the cover of the June issue of Fast Company, the 43-year-old actress and comedian opened up about the challenges of working in an industry that is mostly comprised of males. One of the many frustrations that she's had to endure, she says, is constant questions about the whereabouts of her two children.
She told the magazine: "It's such a weird question. Never in a million years do I ask guys where their kids are. It would be comparable to me going to a guy, 'Do you feel like you see your kids enough?'"
Poehler also touched on her style of leadership as well as her own way of gaining belief in herself. She said: "I often look to men to model behavior. Not because I want to squelch what's feminine about me, but because sometimes I want a little more action, a little less feeling in my interactions."
