Prince William has taken on the task of singing lullabies to baby Prince George to soothe the crying infant. According to the UK newspaper Daily star, a royal insider revealed that the Duke of Cambridge has a very unique way at soothing the crying baby.
"William had no idea it would be this tough. He's using a bizarre tactic of belting out Coldplay anthems at all hours of the night even though he can barely hold a note," the source told the newspaper. "It's even keeping Kate's parents awake."
So what do you think his favorite song to sing is? The source claims that Prince William prefers to sing "Paradise" and sometimes "Yellow."
"Coldplay aren't even his favorite band, but Gorge responds to their songs the most and settles back down," the source added.
Recently the new father officially registered the birth of his son and signed the royal baby's birth certificate. On the certificate he listed his job as "prince" and his wife's Kate Middleton as "princess," Today.com reports.
Technically, Kate Middleton isn't a princess even though she married a prince. When she wed Prince William, Queen Elizabeth formerly gave her the title Duchess of Cambridge. She was also given courtesy titles Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus.
According to Live Science, the two titles of "princess" and "duchess" are not always easy to differentiate and can sometimes be overlapped. Middleton can however "still technically be described as a princess even though that's not her title," the Washington Post's Royal Watch blog reports.
"Under British law, wives take the rank and status of their husbands on marriage," British historian, Andrew Roberts told Today.com.
The Prince signed the birth certificate with just his first name and also provided the full name of his son as His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge.
