Ed Asner has filed for divorce from his wife Cindy 8 years after the two officially separated back in 2007.
Ed and Cindy reportedly reached a financial agreement in 2009, but neither of them actually filed for divorce until now, according to TMZ.
The two got married in 1998, and after nearly a decade together, they split.
A year after the initial split, Ed tried to cut off her temporary spousal support and said she was making no effort to become self-sufficient.
The 85-year-old actor was previously married to Nancy Sykes from 1959 to 1988.
It is unclear as to why Asner filed for divorce now, after all of these years, but maybe it was just "the right time."
A representative for Asner has not provided any other details regarding the divorce.
No matter what is going on in his personal life, Asner is keeping busy and has more than 10 projects in production for the coming year, including thriller "The Home" and drama "Joe's War," the Daily Mail reported.
