Nicholas Brendon's struggles with alcohol continue to land him in the slammer.
Police arrested Brendon for public intoxication on Saturday in Myrtle Beach, according to Us Weekly. It's the third arrest this year for the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star and his fourth in eight months.
Brendon tweeted shortly after his arrest, "We are not releasing any statements regarding today's events. Thank you." On Sunday morning, he tweeted a photo from the beach saying, "Twatters I love you all. Healing waters of Myrtle Beach. We are all human."
Brendon later tweeted on Sunday evening that he was not allowed to drink or swim in the ocean. "What the f%#& am I allowed to do? #depressionisreal," he wrote.
The "Criminal Minds" actor has discussed his struggles with depression in the past and admitted after his last arrest in March that he stopped taking his medications "a while ago." Police in Tallahassee arrested Brendon when destroyed his hotel room after he took nine sleeping pills that caused him to black out.
In February, police in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. charged him with felony grand theft and criminal mischief for an incident at a Hilton hotel. Last October, he was arrested in Boise, Idaho for malicious injury to property and resisting after showing signs of intoxication.
The three previous incidents occurred in cities where Brendon was scheduled to appear at sci-fi conventions. He also split from his wife Moonda Tee in February after only five months of marriage.
