The 2013 Swimming World Championships continue on Saturday. The events begin at 1 p.m. ET. Below is the schedule of events. Watch the live stream HERE.
Team USA continues to dominate. Swimmer Ryan Lochte bounced back from a slow start at the championships and claimed his third gold medal, according to the Associated Press. Lochte swam three races in less than two hours, netting two more gold medals to his count.
The 29-year-old swimmer won the 200-meter backstroke, posted the fastest semifinal time in the 100 butterfly and helped the Americans in the 800 freestyle relay.
Lochte apparently made history, too. There's no record of anyone competing in three races in the same session at either the worlds or the Olympics, according to the Associated Press.
"Unbelievable," Bob Bowman, Michael Phelp's former coach, told AP reporters. "An incredible night in swimming."
The only downside of the night for Team USA came with Missy Franklin first defeat at Barcelona. She finished fourth in the 100 free, ending her streak of four straight wins at the 2013 world championships.
"I'm a little bummed," she conceded to reporters.
She has the opportunity to bounce back on Saturday in the 200 backstroke, where she's a favorite to win and holds the world-record.
