Real Madrid meets Everton on Saturday in the International Champions Cup. The match begins at 8 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is pleased with his club. He's particularly happy with the recent performances from Karim Benzema, Isco and Angel Di Maria in the win against the L.A. Galaxy, SoccerWay.com reports.
"Di Maria scored and played well. Isco played very well, he is a player who has a great ability to find spaces between lines. Benzema does not surprise me, he is a great forward," Ancelotti told Real Madrid's website, according to SoccerWay.
He added: "We try to play together and the players created some good attacking combinations and scoring chances. We have to keep improving. The most important thing is to play attacking football and go after the opponent."
Everton also won its opening match against Juventus, advancing in a penalty shoot-out victory over the Serie A champions. Kevin Mirallas scored the opening goal, and Tim Howard made a number of clutch saves to help his club advance to the second round.
Everton and Real are facing each other for only the second time ever. The clubs' last meeting, in 1987, ended in a 6-1 rout by Real.
Behind the hot play of Mirallas, Everton has the opportunity to split the record. Mirallas scored three goals in four friendly games, and he is confident his scoring will continue.
"I have scored three goals in four games so for me it's been a good pre-season," Mirallas said, via SoccerWay. "More importantly I have had no injuries, we have three more games of pre-season and hopefully I can get two or three more goals."
The winner of Saturday's match will meet either Milan or Chelsea on Wednesday in the ICC final.
