Celebrity chef Alton Brown and wife DeAnna Brown recently split up and have now finalized their divorce.
The Food Network chef, who hosts "Iron Chef America" and "Cutthroat Kitchen," hasn't spoken much about the split, but a source told E! News that he was unhappy in his marriage. Apparently, this break up had been coming "for a while."
Alton is a part of many cooking shows and is also on a speaking tour, so his schedule was quite packed, which had an impact on the couple's decision.
Alton and DeAnna separated in June 2014 and filed for the divorce later that year, reports indicate. The two have a teenage daughter.
The science-minded chef wants to remain focused on his career and hopes he can still continue to inspire people to cook and do great things in the kitchen.
This is the third Food Network star to end a marriage in the past year. Alton's "The Next Food Network Star" cohosts Giada de Laurentiis and Bobby Flay also recently filed for divorce.
