Two weeks after the arrival of the royal baby, Prince George, his father has spent time with his new family in Bucklebury, Berkshire with Middleton's parents, but according to EntertainmentWise, the prince must now leave Kate Middleton and Georgie home alone for now.
After his paternity leave, enjoying his new role as a father and caring for baby Georgie, Prince William has returned to work in North Wales as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot, and sources claim the new dad isn't happy about leaving his son and wife so soon.
"Like any new dad, William is finding it difficult to imagine going back to work and leaving the new baby at home," a royal source told The Mirror. "However, he has known all along that he is entitled to the same as every other father, which is just two weeks' leave."
While life for royals looks lavish and luxurious, it also comes with its fair share of duties and obligations, and just as any working father would, Prince William can't stay home too long. This weekend, he and brother Prince Harry attended the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot for some fun, but the prince admitted baby Georgie never leaves his thoughts.
"I was in baby mode out there, thinking about nappies, I wasn't really in the zone today," he said to The Express.
"It's all going well," he told guests at Coworth Park Polo Club where the match was held. "It's quite a game changer. He likes to move around a lot, he wriggles a lot, he keeps us on our toes."
It's clear that Prince William loves fatherhood so far, and even joked to guests who presented him with a polo stick as a gift that he wished it were some diapers (or nappies, as the Brits call them). "I've got to pick some up on the way home," he revealed.
How will Kate Middleton do by herself with Prince George? Luckily, the Duchess is far from alone, as her doting mother Carole Middleton will certainly be very involved in raising the new baby. Some have even called her a "tigress" grandma, as she ran a tight shit with her own kids and is fiercely protective of her offspring.
Luckily, Middleton has also gotten the hang of breastfeeding her son while adjusting to motherhood at her parent's mansion in Bucklebury.
"I gather there were some difficulties at first - there often can be, as new mums can get a little tense," a source told The Mirror. "But after some help from the midwife, they both caught on very quickly. As far as I can tell, Kate finds it very relaxing and George is just like any other little baby. He can't get enough. And they all certainly know when he's hungry - his screams are very difficult to ignore. But don't expect Kate to be photographed breastfeeding. She does not want to become a pin-up for the breast-feeding lobby. She feels that it is a matter of personal choice, and that new mums should do whatever feels right for them and their baby."
When their Kensington Palace residence Apartment 1A is finished being renovated, the royal couple and baby will move into their grand new home, and Prince William will be able to fulfill his royal duties with his family never far away.
