Agent Peggy Carter will set up shop in Los Angeles when "Agent Carter" returns for a second season next winter, which calls into question which of her New York friends and co-workers will make the transition with her.
When ABC announced the renewal last week, Hayley Atwell was the only star signed on to return, but the actress may have just confirmed Peggy's best friend and roommate, Angie Martinelli, will also make the trip west.
"See you sooooon darling @LyndsyMFonseca! X," Atwell tweeted on Thursday afternoon.
The "Captain America" star will reprise her role as the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) agent on a dangerous mission to fight against "new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II" in L.A., according to ABC's description. In addition to her assignment, Carter will find new friends, a new home and possibly a new love interest on the West Coast.
"She's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect," the description reads.
Fonseca's character Angie worked at the L&L Automat as a waitress, but really wanted to act on Broadway. Perhaps she'll pursue her dreams of stardom in Hollywood next season.
