While Logan, a young boy who suffered from a traumatic brain injury from a fall, was at the hospital his spirits were lifted by a very special four-legged visitor.
The hospital brought a pony into Logan's hospital room when he was immobile in his bed to brighten his day. As soon as he saw the pony he told his doctors that it was "exactly what he prayed for."
The pony answering his prayers was just what Logan needed to help him pull through and survive his injury.
After spending some time in the Intensive Care Unit at Children's Medical Center in Dallas he was moved to Baylor's Our Children's House (OCH) for rehab. Now Logan is healing so well that he is back at home now, although he is still in their intensive outpatient therapy program at OCH 5 days a week.
