Sri Lanka faces South Africa on Tuesday in the third Twenty-20 (T20) match. The match begins at 9:30 a.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
South Africa bounced back from its disappointing ODI series and is now one game away from sweeping Sri Lanka in the T20 series. South Africa won the first T20 by 12 runs and the second T20 by 22 runs. Although Sri Lanka has been putting its younger players in the lineup, a 3-0 wash of the T20 top-ranked Sri Lankans would still give South Africa a strong finish.
South Africa has looked like a different team under the captaincy of Faf du Plessis and the insertion into the lineup of Imran Tahir, ESPN reports.
It's uncertain if Sri Lanka will try to avoid the sweep or if it will continue to give its younger players more experience.
"It is difficult to predict whether Sri Lanka will stick with their plan to play only three senior batsmen," ESPN wrote. "The prospect of being whitewashd might spur them to play their best XI, but Kusal Perera also showed signs of reclaiming some form in his 21 in the last match, when he was given wrongly given out."
