Japan Earthquake: Tokyo Rocked With A Magnitude 5.6, No Tsunami Warning

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was felt in Japan at around 2:30 in the afternoon (local time), Reuters India Tweeted.

The Japan News Tweeted: "Around 2:30 pm quake was M-5.6 with epicenter in northern Saitama Prefecture. No #tsunami warning. #earthquake #地震"

The temblor was felt all around Tokyo, the country's capital city, shaking buildings, setting off alarms and halting subway transportation.

As of press time, there have been no reports on casualties and damages.
