Justin Bieber Nightclub Fight Update: Singer Will Not Be Charged in Brawl at Southampton Hot Spot (VIDEO)

After rumors flew Justin Bieber might be facing charges for his involvement in a brawl that occurred outside of a New York nightclub, police have confirmed it is not the singer, but his crew, that is being investigated.

Representatives from the Southampton police confirmed to E! News that a male was taken to the hospital following an altercation and decided to press charges. Bieber was not involved and is not considered a suspect, but his bodygaurds are being investigated.

The ordeal allegedly took place as Bieber and his entourage of 14 were leaving South Pointe, a nightclub in Southampton, a well-known celebrity summer hotspot.

Video shows Bieber, who is underage, in the club's VIP area wearing sunglasses and a red baseball cap. Sources said Bieber was well-mannered and drank only water during his time at the venue.

Trouble reportedly began when Bieber was escorted out of the club and sat waiting in the parking lot for two of his female servers, who he had invited to join him.

While it's unclear exactly what happened, video shows Bieber standing atop his SUV and jumping down to approach an unseen individual. The clip then cuts off, and a few men are seen in a brief scuffle before the fight is broken up.

Meanwhile, representatives from the club insist the altercation did not occur on their property, and was the result of someone throwing a rock at Bieber's car.

"The police are currently investigating an incident that happened off premise and down the street from South Pointe in which Justin Bieber's security confronted the individual after their car was struck with a rock after 4 a.m."

Club reps could comment no further, being that the investigation is on-going.

After the news broke, Bieber tweeted what could be a response to the incident saying, "The most recent rumors might be the funniest of all. Where do u get this stuff??? #focusedonreality"
