Juventus meets Internazionale Milan on Tuesday in the 2013 International Champions Cup. The match begins at 6:30 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
Juventus and Inter compete to avoid finishing at the bottom of the ICC tournament, SoccerNews.com reports. Neither team has won yet at the ICC, and Tuesday gives them a chance to avoid a last-place finish.
Series-A champions Juventus were defeated against Everton in a 6-5 loss, and then fell to the L.A. Galaxy, 3-1. Juventus manager Antonio Conte said he wants "more hunger" from his team.
"We need to show more hunger," Conte told the team site, according to SoccerWay. "(Gianluigi) Buffon made an important point saying he fears a possible indulgence after two consecutive championship successes and you just need to look at the goals we conceded (against Galaxy) to realise the danger is there."
Conte added: "We must increase our concentration levels. We haven't won a game since we've been here, it's now time to change that."
While the ICC is a preseason tournament, Conte views it as preparation for the forthcoming Italian Super Cup. The team faces Lazio on Aug. 18, and the ICC gives Conte time to tinker with his lineup beforehand.
Inter Milan hasn't had any success at the tournament, either. The team lost to Chelsea and Valencia. Despite losing 4-0 to Valencia, new Inter manager Walter Mazzarri isn't concerned - he blamed the defeat on his team's lack of conditioning.
"You could see Valencia were much fresher," Mazzarri told the team site, according to SoccerWay. "And then you have to consider that they played their last match on July 27, while ours was three days ago."
Mazzarri sees improvement in his team, and he believes they'll soon become competitive again.
