Miniature Horses: Instantly Fall In Love With These 2-Foot-Tall Mini Horses! (PHOTOS)

Miniature horses, one of the cutest child-sized animals, have been growing in popularity since the 1970s.

The mini horses - not to be confused with ponies (ponies are actually bigger than mini horses!) - resemble the same shapes and colors of "regular" horses, but they don't grow past 34 inches tall (two-feet-eight-inches).

Mini horses are gentle with humans, which makes them a great tool to teach young children (under 60 pounds) how to ride horses, according to The Miniature Horse.

Whether you're being introduced to mini horses for the first time, or just love looking at pictures of these cuties (how could you not?), check out this slide show to see a few mini horses living life to the fullest!
