Season 2 of Revenge helped the show take a bit of a down fall. Viewers who were attached to their TV’s for the first season were not as interested in the slightly more complicated second season. Therefore, ABC’s entertainment president Paul Lee is reassuring fans Season 3 will be a much better experience, according to MSN Entertainment.
"I think we stumbled a little bit in the second season, but Mike [Kelley] is one of the great show runners," Lee said at a Television Critics Association panel recently on Sunday. "What Sunil is bringing to us is a slightly less complicated and a really interesting take. The first episode back -- I don't know how much we can reveal. We're not allowed to reveal anything -- is a fantastic episode starting with a magnificent hook. I do think you are going to see that one enjoying itself in its third season. And we certainly are."
There are a few couple lines to look forward to in Season 3. Here are the two of the major ones:
First of all, Emily finally confessed her true identity to Jack. How will he take this? This will probably (or closer to definitely) complicate thing with Daniel
Victoria finally meets her son Patrick. We know that Emily is going to spend majority of the season making them miserable. Guess we’ll see if Patrick (being played by Justin Hartley) helps his mom against her constant battle with Ms. Thorne.
Season 3 will premiere on ABC, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
