Tameka Raymond, Usher’s Ex-Wife, Seeks Full Custody of Children After Pool Accident, ‘He’s Creating a Dangerous Environment’

Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, is seeking full custody of her children with the R&B superstar just one day after a pool accident that left their five-year-old boy in the ICU. According to the Daily Mail, Tameka has just filed documents requesting an emergency hearing for later in the week to gain full custody of the kids.

Currently Usher has primary custody of both kids while she only has limited custody but she is hoping to change that. She believes the singer is creating a dangerous environment for the children and is shunning his parenting responsibilities by allowing other people to watch his kids for him.

She claims his people have dropped the ball, especially his aunt, who was watching Usher Raymond V when the accident happened. According to TMZ, Tameka has complained about Usher's aunt in the past reportedly saying that she let a stalker into the house Usher and the kids were staying at. She also believes that aunt is too physical when disciplining the kids.

The emergency hearing comes just one day after Usher rushed to the hospital to be with his son. On Monday afternoon , the little boy was reportedly playing in the pool with his aunt when he saw a toy in the drain at the bottom of the pool. He dove under the water to get it and his arm got stuck in the drain, TMZ reports.

Usher's aunt immediately dove into the pool but couldn't free his arm, the maid also dove in and couldn't get the boy's arm out. The maid called for help and two men working in the singer's house came out and were able to get the child free.

According to reports, they immediately performed CPR and rushed the boy to the hospital. Usher was not at home when the incident occurred. When he arrived to the hospital he was reportedly "conscious, alert and breathing" and is expected to be ok.

This is the second accident to strike a child in the Usher family. Last year Tameka's 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, died from injuries resulting from a Jet Ski accident.
