Following the latest round of pitchers being ejected for using foreign substances on their baseballs, New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi and Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell both came out in support of the MLB instituting a rule that would allow pitchers to use a league-standardized substance to help better control their pitches.
