Janet Jackson thought she was just going to be enjoying dinner with her husband for her birthday, but he had a whole party secretly planned!
Jackson and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, were going out for sushi on May 16 for her 49th birthday when she found herself completely taken by surprise, Us Weekly reported.
Al Mana put together a surprise birthday party for his wife at Hyde Lounge in Los Angeles, and she really had no idea.
"Thirty of her closest friends and family were there," a source revealed in Us Weekly's newest issue.
Jackson had fun and partied until 1:30 in the morning. Her husband of three years even got her "two beautiful cakes" to celebrate.
Jackson's brother Jermaine was also reportedly at the party, decked in Louis Vuitton from head to toe.
This party comes just two weeks after Jackson revealed she'd be making a musical comeback. She is set to release a new album and go on a world tour at some point this year.
