In a preview of Thursday's episode of "Lip Sync Battle," talk show host and recording artist Queen Latifah performed LL Cool J's rap classic "Rock the Bells."
Latifah really got into character by recreating the rapper's iconic style for the performance — dressing in gold chains, hoop earrings and an old-school red tracksuit.
Seems like the "Lip Sync Battle" host was delighted by Latifah's performance. In the clip, he is seen giving the "Bessie" actress a standing ovation.
"Rock The Bells," recorded by the "NCIS: Los Angeles" star in 1986, includes the lyrics: "L.L. Cool J is hard as hell/Battle anybody I don't care who you tell."
But Latifah has some serious competition when comedian Marlon Wayans takes the stage to perform Pharrell Williams' "Happy." Wayans may not have known all of the words, but he does have some top-notch dances moves.
"Lip Sync Battle" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
