Lori Loughlin has confirmed that she will star in the "Full House" spinoff.
"Officially, I am going to be a part of the spinoff 'Fuller House,'" Loughlin said Thursday on "Good Morning America."
The 50-year-old actress will reprise her role as Rebecca Katsopolis on the upcoming Netflix series. She will join her former "Full House" co-stars Candace Cameron-Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier and her on-screen husband, John Stamos.
"I'm very excited. It's going to be very great to be back with the whole cast and we're going to help Candace and Jodie and Andrea spinoff the new show, 'Fuller House," she said.
Loughlin explained that she, Coulier and Stamos will appear in the first episode and then throughout the first season they will "pop up here and there."
Production will begin soon on "Fuller House." Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner, is the only original star left that has not made an announcement about his participation. Executive producer Robert L. Boyett announced last week that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had decided not to rejoin the cast in the spinoff.
"They've chosen not to be a part of it. We would have loved it. It would have been great, but I understand," Loughlin said about the Olsen twins backing out.
