Beyoncé stunned fans when she posted several photos on her Instagram account showing off a new drastic hairstyle. The "Grown Woman" singer, traded in her long, blonde weave for a short pixie cut.
She showed off the new look by posting photos of herself gazing in the mirror giving her fans different angles of her short tresses. Beyoncé is known for her signature blonde weave which she has no problem flipping around on stage during her concerts.
This is the first time in her career that she has worn short hair and the new look is already being compared to Rihanna's new chop. The "Pour It Up" singer also debuted a short haircut last week after taking out her long, black weave.
Her hair stylist, Kim Kimble, who has the reality show "LA Hair," once said that Beyoncé's signature blonde look was her "brand," the Daily Mail reports.
"Every time she comes out with a new album, she changes her look, but we still keep her within her look," she told WE TV. "When you work with a celeb, it's all about branding - the glam, sexy blonde color is her staple, so we tweak it to keep it fresh. I look at hair as another type of accessory."
Kimble has also styled Shakira and Mary J. Blige's hair and also reportedly did Rihanna's hair once. Kimble posted on her Twitter account that she didn't cut Beyoncé's hair but she thought the new look was cute.
