Bob Saget Joins 'Fuller House' On Netflix

Bob Saget (Danny Tanner) is officially on the cast list for Netflix's "Fuller House!"

The "Full House" spin-off series may be going on without Michelle Tanner (played by the Olsen twins), but it couldn't survive without the family's center - Danny Tanner!

Saget's participation in "Fuller House" was confirmed by John Stamos, the show's executive producer, who will also play Uncle Jesse.

"Last but not least-best piece of casting yet," Stamos tweeted Thursday night. "The great @bobsaget will be joining our show on @netfilx - this completes the perfect reunion!"

The show will circle around recently widowed D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure) who has two kids and one on the way. To help raise her family, D.J. asks her best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber), who also has a teenage daughter, and sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) to move in.

Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) and Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky) also signed on to the 13-episode Netflix reunion show.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of baby Michelle Tanner, announced earlier this week that they will not be returning to the show.

"Fuller House" is set to premiere on Netflix in 2016.
