Rapper Lil Mama is back with a new song and music video: "Sausage." The new video is just like the native New Yorker's clips for her hits "Lip Gloss" and "G-Slide (Tour Bus)," which were both released in 2007.
Twitter users had mixed reactions about the song, according to The Boom Box, including wondering why 25-year-old Lil Mama did not credit the originators of the "Sausage Movement."
"I only watched 29 seconds of Lil Mama video before I closed it. Is it suppose to be a parody?" Twitter user @_QweenJah asked.
"This lil mama slander has 2stop!!! Let her be great!!!" said Twitter user @FlatscreenHD.
Lil Mama—born Niatia Jessica Kirkland—played Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in the 2013 VH1 biopic "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story." She also served as a judge for seven seasons on "America's Best Dance Crew."
