Korean Air Signs Long-Term Agreement with Amadeus to Provide Enhanced Customer Services

According to Breaking Travel News report, Korean Air and Amadeus signed an agreement which provides the worldwide travel agencies complete access to the entire range of fares and inventory through the Amadeus system.

Amadeus and Korean air continues to strengthen their position in the Global Distribution System by signing the agreement which guarantees the Korean's air fares, schedules and inventory content is accessible through all Amadeus sales worldwide. The agreement allows travel agencies and travel management companies access the information worldwide.

"With this new agreement, we ensure that travel agents both in Korea and in our international markets will be provided with the highest level of access to Korean Air's full range of content and services," Kee Hong Woo, Senior Vice President, Passenger Business, Korean Air, said, according to Breaking Travel News. "Furthermore, this agreement will also help travel agents to provide not only the best available content but also enhanced customer services, reflective of our commitment to excellence in flight."

"Korean Air and Amadeus have a long-standing relationship," a spokesperson for Korean Air said. "We're confident this will help us continue to deliver an advanced level of customer service for our passengers and also integrate more closely with our partners in the Skyteam global alliance. We anticipate more seamless reservation processes, reduction in check-in times, the roll out of new technology options and more personalised flight services for Korean Air customers."
